KinFigure Kinvention is more than just another dance convention—it’s an experience, a piece of each teacher’s journey brought to life in one powerful event. What sets it apart is how it blends the electric energy and size of a big convention with the close-knit connection of a small one, creating an unforgettable space for dancers to grow.
What we believe truly defines us is our culture—one that radiates love and high energy while also challenging and pushing dancers to reach their fullest potential. It’s a balance that fuels both passion and progress. The energy in the room, the hard work, and the inspiration—it’s something that cannot be explained through words, it is something that has to be lived and you must experience yourself.
Kinvention Includes:
– Classes in various styles with some of the most leading & working choreographers and dancers in the industry.
– Conceptual based classes which drives the lesson in each teacher’s class.
– Auditions for LA & NY based agencies
– Scouting for colleges across the globe
– Auditions for the KinFigure Kollective
– & More

This year’s theme is Crossroads.
Throughout every life there are defining moments where the road we’ve been walking meets another path. These are the moments that ask us to choose our direction with intention. Not out of hesitation, but out of conviction—out of a deep belief in who we are and who we are becoming.
For dancers and artists, crossroads appear often. In the decisions to grow, to take risks in our artistry, to rise to new challenges, and to step fully into the gifts we’ve been given. These moments shape more than our careers—they shape our character.
Life gives each of us the freedom to choose our path. The ability to decide what we will stand for, how we will move through the world, and what kind of impact we will leave behind. When we move with faith—faith in the purpose placed within us and faith in the direction we are being led—our choices begin to carry deeper meaning.
At the crossroads, we are reminded that every step forward is an act of belief. Belief in our calling, belief in the strength we’ve been given, and belief that the path we choose has the power to lead us exactly where we are meant to go.
Because sometimes the most powerful decision we can make is simply to walk boldly in the direction we were created for.
Through movement, dialogue, and deep connection, Kinvention 2026 invites you to step boldly into what’s next. This isn’t just an event—it’s an experience. A journey. A challenge to grow beyond what you thought possible.

Most importantly you’ll find a dance family unlike any other. Genuine people who love, care, and support each other along one another’s journey.
